New for CAPCON 2023 is a per-model registration fee, in addition to first obtaining your Museum admission.
Step 1: Museum Admission
Each Entrant must first pay the appropriate Canadian War Museum admission fee before entering models into competition. (Go to CWM website and click "Buy Tickets" for the event date of October 14, 2023.)
Museum admission fees may be paid before or on the day of the event (Saturday, October 14, 2023).
Proof of purchase must be obtained and presented at the start of the model registration process.
Veterans:
Per Museum policy, past and present Canadian military personnel are entitled to free admission to the Museum.
To enter models into competition, you must show your proof of Museum admission at the beginning of the CAPCON model registration process and pay Adult model registration fees separately.
Step 2: Model Contest Registration
Model registration takes place onsite in the morning of the event (Saturday, October 14, 2023). Model registration must be done in person; there is no pre-registration of models into competition.
First, show your proof of Museum admission, then enter your models into CAPCON competition.
There is a per-model registration fee which must be paid at the end of the model registration process.
CAPCON reserves the right to limit the number of entries per Entrant.
Fees for entry registration must be paid by CASH; we will not accept cheque, eTransfer, debit or credit card payment.
Adult (older than 16yo):
$3.00 per entry (into Standard and Newcomer categories)Junior (16 years or younger on the day of the event):
FREE model entry (into Junior categories)
Veterans:
To enter models into CAPCON competition, you must show your proof of Museum admission and pay Adult model registration fees separately.
Parking
Onsite (underground) parking is available in accordance with Canadian War Museum parking fees. Parking fees are not included and must be paid separately.
